Hey! Hi! Howdy! Hello!
It's about time we started with something, right?
We're Maddie and Brooke, best friends since '99 and recent college grads. We met playing soccer when we were 8, and have been inseparable ever since (well except for that awkward year when we were 10 and couldn't stand each other...but thankfully we grew out of that).
Post grad life is not what we expected it to be. We didn't get some fancy jobs and move to a big city, instead, we moved back in with our parents, where the rent is non-existent and the food is free. Although it's not what every recent graduate dreams of, it is definitely better than any alternative we can think of.
Instead of wallowing in sadness or frustration about our current state of living, we've chosen to embrace it. We've had time to set goals for ourselves and enjoy what it means to be a twenty-something. Yes, we have dreams of moving out and living together in a big city. We have plans to land the perfect job and go to happy hour with our awesome co-workers. But until then, we are content, and we know, that in this moment, here lies happy.

If you haven't figured it out by now, happy is exactly what our blog is going to be about. And no, we don't just mean us rambling about what it means to be happy, or how to be happy. Instead, we want to write about what makes us happy, what inspires us, and in turn, hopefully inspire you!
